When a Client Is Running Late
Late-arrival signals let clients notify you before a no-show is recorded.
What Happens
- The client submits a running-late signal from their appointment link.
- The appointment receives a grace extension.
- You see a banner and countdown on the appointment card.
What You Can Do
- Wait for arrival during the grace window.
- Mark no-show manually if policy conditions are met.
After the Grace Window
If the client still does not arrive by the grace deadline, no-show logic can apply and deposit policy enforcement runs.
Signal on Behalf of a Client
If a client calls or texts:
- Open the appointment.
- Trigger
Client Running Late. - Enter the estimated delay.
- Save to notify the team and update timeline.
Tips
- Keep delay estimates realistic.
- Add notes if a late arrival affects schedule flow.
- Use policy settings to keep decisions consistent across the shop.
