When a Client Is Running Late

Late-arrival signals let clients notify you before a no-show is recorded.

What Happens

  • The client submits a running-late signal from their appointment link.
  • The appointment receives a grace extension.
  • You see a banner and countdown on the appointment card.

What You Can Do

  • Wait for arrival during the grace window.
  • Mark no-show manually if policy conditions are met.

After the Grace Window

If the client still does not arrive by the grace deadline, no-show logic can apply and deposit policy enforcement runs.

Signal on Behalf of a Client

If a client calls or texts:

  1. Open the appointment.
  2. Trigger Client Running Late.
  3. Enter the estimated delay.
  4. Save to notify the team and update timeline.

Tips

  • Keep delay estimates realistic.
  • Add notes if a late arrival affects schedule flow.
  • Use policy settings to keep decisions consistent across the shop.
